Established in 2005, Sumadhura Arts Academy has been excelling in bringing about an Indian Classical Dance form to light producing the best of dancers at a global level.
Based in Hyderabad, we have enhanced the skills of about 800 individuals in this pristine art form of Kuchipudi with several branches at Manikonda and Motinagar.
We aim to provide quality training to our students from all age groups with little to no experience.Having performed over 1200 shows around the world in the past 15 years, we strive to perform better and better each day.

An Unspoken Friendship:
When "I" Is replaced by "We" !!!
A burst of emotions they may not have felt before.
The thought of dying, giving up and letting go.
Yet, living each day with a new zest for life.
Feeling the existing thoughts they have had a million times worse and intense. Cancer is not easy.
The side effects are extremely devastating.
Losing their hair and battling this disease takes a whole lot of mental power and energy.
"Half the time it is the fear that kills a person, not the cancer itself."
When you lose hope, that's when you die mentally.
Giving them a small ray of hope, some incredible, selfless people have donated their hair for the production of wigs.
The right choice about whether to hide it or embrace it is the one that makes them happy.
As a society, we have been conditioned to believe that hair is an essential part of appearance and that being bald does not fit into the world's beauty standards.
It can be traumatising looking at yourself in the mirror, watching each strand of your hair fall into your hands as you run your fingers through them.
Their emotions must be something we cannot even imagine. Here's a salute to all the cancer survivors and people still battling.
Twelve classical dancers from our academy donated their long, luscious hair for this cause. They have shown their friendship towards some strong, beautiful people, without actual words but only actions.
The transition to survivorship can be agonising.
If this little contribution could help ease this agony in any amount, we are nothing but glad. It is not just you, it is us.
"When 'I' is replaced by 'we', even illness becomes wellness."
So incase you are or were wondering looking at a lot of shaved heads or short hair styles of our Instructors and students, it is their big heart!
